This is Dot, I trained with her in the fall of 2003 and it was love at first sight; I brought her back to Canada in May of 04. I felt the same the first time I saw Mop. If you want to see her and the rest of the crew, go to:
This is Sandra,I owe mostly what I know to her and I also blame her for being so nice and getting me started in this shepherding gambit.
This is not,a hill for feinthearted dogs or people. Sandra and country like this make tough Border Collies, the weak need not apply.

Sandra, is having a very very serious chat with this ewe who was buggering up a training session with one of her best dogs.
Mopnot too many weeks old and she still has the sweet innocence of youth. In October/03 I went back for Mop. The picture on the right is her on the first morning I was back. We were both a bit nervous but that lasted only a very short time. After that all I had to worry about was how well I could learn to work Mop under the guidance of Sandy who is a real taskmaster.

The start of it all for me in July & August/03. I have Maggie from Vancouver Island in British Columbia Canada & in October/03 I went back & brought Mop from the Scottish Highlands. In May/o4 I went back to get Dot, a fine two year old bitch who is a half sister of Mop
Spot, he's very talented of course or he wouldn't be on Sandra's crew. What an example of brains and good looks. If I could be like Spot I'd rather be a dog.
Sandra, she's so good at her job; I wish I had started this herding bit years ago, I'd have loved to compete against her. She's also kind of cute but I'm afraid Spot has the edge on her.
